In May of 1952, a small group of Norwin teachers seized the opportunity to establish a federally chartered credit union in order to aid their colleagues in the Norwin School District in matters of saving and borrowing. The NORWIN TEACHERS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION serves not only the financial needs of the Norwin faculty, but also the secretaries, administrators, food service personnel, custodians, maintenance staff, Laidlaw bus drivers and their families. Our non-profit cooperative now has assets in excess of $10,000,000 and boasts a membership of 1,500.

After years of providing personal, family-like service from available space within the senior high school, we now conduct the same friendly service in the Landmark Pavilion (once known as the Circleville Elementary School) on Robbins Station Road. We welcome you to visit us and take a bite of our apple (for the teacher, of course), and as our slogan states, “$AVOR THE $AVING$”. Traditionally, we have maintained high dividend rates on share (savings) accounts and low interest rates on loans. Our members typically borrow for new and used cars, home improvements, vacations, and bill consolidation…and much more.
